How long will it take to receive my order?

All of our products are made to order and our current production lead time is 4-6 weeks, plus shipping transit times. Shipping transit times are usually between 7-14 business days. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a more accurate lead time.

If you have any questions, get in touch with us and our customer service representatives can provide you with more information regarding your specific order.

Where can I see your product in person?

Varkoa manufacturers completely made-to-order furniture and do not have any products on hand nor keep any in-stock inventory. While our manufacturing facility is located in Vancouver, BC, we do not have any showrooms or retail stores.

How can I see your fabrics?

Our fabrics can be seen on our website on the product pages or in our free Swatch Kit.

We offer a free swatch samples which can be delivered to you. To order, fill out the Swatch Kit Order form. Please note that the colours seen on our website can vary from the actual samples, we recommend taking advantage of the free sample swatches so that you can see and feel the texture of the fabric you will be choosing.

Are the colours on my computer screen an accurate representation of the actual fabric?

While we review all of our images on various devices to ensure that textures and colours are accurately shown, we cannot guarantee that they will be the same due to differences in various monitor and printer settings. We offer a free Swatch Kit for this reason so that you can see and feel the material you would like to use before you make a purchase.

Will I be charged a deposit or the full payment when I place my order?

All orders are charged in full when the order is placed. We accept Visa, Mastercard & American Express for your convenience.

Where are your products made?

Our upholstered products are all manufactured in Canada at our manufacturing facility. We use CNC technology to cut our fabric and frames, allowing us to manufacture pieces in custom dimensions and with the fabric you like. Other cases, such as coffee tables, are imported from all over the globe.

What fabrics are best for pets or small children?

All of our fabrics are durable with high double rub counts. The fabrics can be easily spot cleaned regularly for everyday situations.

Do you offer further customization than what is shown on-line?

If you require further customization than changing dimensions, leg stains, or cushion density, please contact us and we can walk you through the process to further customize your piece. We can add feather seating or backs, nail head trim, piping details, deep diamond tufting just to name a few. If you have an idea we will try to bring it to fruition.

What is your return policy?

If you are not completely satisfied with your Varkoa purchase, you can contact us for a return authorization number.

  • If you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order, we will issue a refund, minus all shipping charges, including return shipping charges.
  • If you contact us after 14 days, we will not be able to accept any returns, unfortunately.
  • Once we have issued you a return authorization, we will arrange for having the product picked up and shipped back to our warehouse for inspection to ensure it is not damaged and in new condition. Once the product has been inspected, we will issue a refund.

Note that any changes made to a product’s listed standard/default dimensions, foam cushion firmness, leg style or colour will make your order a final sale. This applies to allis for all of our made to order custom products such as sofas, condo sofas, love seats, chairs, and sectionals. The use of customer's own material (COM) will also make your order a final sale. Orders which are final sale are not eligible for our return policy or a refund.

What is your warranty coverage?

Products manufactured by Varkoa are covered by our Limited Lifetime warranty for the structure and a 3-year warranty for soft components. For more information, view our warranty page.

What are the shipping costs?

Flat Rate Shipping For Furniture Orders:

Standard Shipping: $199

  • Product is delivered through the first door or first dry area

Room Of Choice: $299

  • Product is delivered to the room of consumer’s choice
  • Product set in place

White Glove: $399

  • Product is delivered to the room of consumer’s choice
  • Product set in place
  • Unpack or debris removed
    (Please note that our upholstered products generally require no assembly and if they do it would be light assembly such as legs needing to screwed on or fastened.)
Additional Info:
  • Deliveries are made Monday – Friday between 8am-5pm.
  • Varkoa is not responsible for any unclaimed package charges or storage fees. Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the furniture on the delivery date

 

Can I make changes to my order after it has been placed?

As all of our orders are made-to-order based on your product selection and requirements, you have 48 hours to make any changes to your order. After, 48 hours, your order will move into production and changes can no longer be made.

What happens if my order is damaged during shipping?

Sometimes, things do not go as planned and products can arrive damaged. In the unlikely event that you receive a product damaged in transit, please give us a call at +1 800 936 6690 or email us at support@varkoa.ca within 48 hours of receiving the product.

What if I want to order and do not require my furniture until later?

At Varkoa, you can place an order with us and let us know the date you require it and we will put a note on your order. For example, if you need something in six months, we will manufacture the product closer to your required date so it arrives when you require it.

Can I ship my product to a different address then my billing address?

Yes. You can ship to an address different from your billing address. For legal purposes, a customer service representative may contact you to verify your identity by asking for a government issued ID. This is to combat credit card fraud.

Do dimensions on your pieces vary?

The dimensions on our pieces will be to what you ordered and will only vary by +/- 1 inch. The reason for this is because our product is hand crafted and the use of foam and fabric can change the dimension by +/- 1 inch.

What currency are your prices in?

Our prices are in both US & Canadian currencies and you will be charged according to your billing address regardless of where your product is shipping to.
